World Communion Sunday
World Communion Sunday celebrates the unity and diversity of the universal Christian community. As we gather around the Lord’s table, we recognize our unity in Christ, joining with others worldwide in Holy Communion. Embracing this commitment, United Methodists are dedicated to nurturing diverse leadership within the church by allocating funds for scholarships and leadership training for under-represented students. Contributions fund scholarships for U.S. and international students, as well as grants for global inclusion, diversity, equity, and access training. UMCOR TEN BUCKET CHALLENGECan We Fill the Buckets? Thank you to all who have been dropping off items -- We are well on our way to filling those buckets! If you would like to contribute towards the purchase of items needed to complete a bucket kit, please write "UMCOR buckets" on the memo line of your check or choose the UMCOR option when you give online with Tithely. The United Methodist Committee on Relief Cleaning Bucket program provides those in the aftermath of a disaster the tools to start the hard work of cleaning and starting over...Recent weather events and numerous flooding events have seriously depleted the stockpile at the Mission Barn and help is needed to replenish the bucket supply. To help meet this need, we are challenging ourselves to fill TEN buckets with the needed supplies for a Cleaning Bucket Kit.
