Season of Ash & FireThird Sunday of Lent - March 8, 2026 As we move further into the season of Lent, we are drawn to the message of the cross: the life-giving power of Jesus' death and resurrection, a message that is misunderstood by many but becomes the water of life to the thirsty in a parched land. -Excerpted from "Season of Ash and Fire - Prayers and Liturgies for Lent and Easter" by Blair Gilmer Meeks.
