Stone UMC will be the host church for this year's Spring Lay Ministry classes offered by the Erie-Meadville District.  These classes are open to all and equip disciples for ministry, enhance leadership skills, and are essential for certification, with advanced courses needed for Lay Speaker status, focusing on equipping members for various church leadership and outreach roles. 

Whether you are feeling called to explore a Lay Servant role within the church or just would like to explore one of the class topics and enjoy fellowship with others, we encourage you to sign up and try a class this spring!

The 2026 Spring Lay Servant Ministries School (Erie-Meadville District) will be offered on five consecutive Sundays from February 22 to March 22. 

Registration with payment of $20 must be received by Wednesday, February 11th.

The Souper Bowl is Back! 

Join us on Sunday, February 8, 2026 after our worship service at Stone UMC for a deliciously good time!

Soups will be packaged and ready to be purchased in Miller Parlor - your purchase will benefit the work of Wildlife in Need and our scholarship fund for youth who would like to go to a church summer camp program.

There is a sign up sheet at the church for anyone who would like to make and donate soup.  Soups can be dropped off in the Teubert Kitchen on the first floor of the church on Saturday, Feb. 7 from 9am until noon. If you have questions, please contact Darlene Ross.

Jan. 18-25 marks the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. This annual observance, sponsored jointly by the World Council of Churches and the Pontifical Council for Christian Unity since 1968, invites all Christians everywhere to remember one another in prayer and strengthen the bonds of love and mutual mission we share in Jesus Christ.
