“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Matthew 5:4 (NRSV)

Dear friends,

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I hope this finds you and your families doing well.

It is with sadness that we have learned of the passing of Ronald R. Snow, a longtime and beloved member of Stone Church. Ron, age 90, of Meadville, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. He was born in Meadville on December 27, 1935, to the late George and Viola (Jastromb) Snow. He married Lois Levis on July 15, 1972, and she preceded him in death on June 23, 2010.

Ron was a faithful and very active member of our church. He shared his gifts, time, and talents in so many ways, touching the lives of many within our congregation and throughout the Meadville community. His presence, service, and commitment to Stone Church will be deeply missed.

Friends, as we walk through this time of grief together as a church family, may we also celebrate Ron’s life and give thanks for the many ways God worked through him. May we continue to honor his memory by embracing and carrying forward the legacy of love, faith, and service that he leaves with us here at Stone Church and in the Meadville community. As we continue to pray for Ron and entrust him into God’s eternal care, I also encourage each of you to reach out to his family with a call, a card, or a word of encouragement during this difficult time.

May God comfort the Snow family, strengthen our church family, and grant us peace in the assurance of God’s promise of eternal life. Amen.

Blessings and love,

Pastor Domingos F. Fernando
