I would like to extend a welcoming invitation to any and all adults in our congregation to attend our adult Sunday school class which is learning about and discussing The Social Principles of the United Methodist Church!  The class will start in Crawford Library between 10 and 10:15 and run for an hour.  -Gloria Shields

Class options for the Fall 2025 Lay Servant Ministries Schools are now open for registration in the Erie-Meadville, Pittsburgh District and Indiana & Johnstown District - many classes are being offered by ZOOM for those who prefer an online option.

Classes typically are held weekly through the month of October.

Grief Share is a13 week, nationally-known program specifically designed for use by churches.  If you would be interested in participating, please sign up now on the Church Information bulletin board across from Miller Parlor or by emailing Jen in the office at churchoffice@stoneumc.org.  Tuesday evening sessions will begin at 6PM on October 7, 2025 and Wednesday mornings will be at 10:30AM beginning on October 8, 2025.

Children and youth are welcome to join our Sunday School teachers in Miller Parlor after worship at 10AM Sunday mornings.

We will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event again this year alongside the church for our community.  Please consider picking up one or more bags of candy throughout the months of September and October and dropping them off to our collection bins in Thoburn Lobby or the sanctuary.  We host 500+ trick or treaters each year at this much-loved event.

The United Methodist Committee on Relief Cleaning Bucket program provides those in the aftermath of a disaster the tools to start the hard work of cleaning and starting over...Recent weather events and numerous flooding events have seriously depleted the stockpile at the Mission Barn and help is needed to replenish the bucket supply.

To help meet this need, we are challenging ourselves to fill TEN buckets with the needed supplies for a Cleaning Bucket Kit. 

Visit our display in Thoburn Lobby to see what supplies are needed - each item has been listed on a card - take the card, purchase the item and return it along with your purchased items to the church to be included in our buckets.

Bring your "extra" treasures to Stone Church for our Treasure Hunt Sale!

Purchase a table space for $25 and bring your unwanted items to Kingsley Hall on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Your purchase of a table will benefit the church and provide space to sell your treasures. Proceeds from the sale of your items are yours to keep. This event will take place from 10 am to 3pm.

Table reservations must be made and paid for prior to the event.  Set up will take place on the afternoon of Friday, October 3 from 2-4pm and the morning of Saturday, October 4 from 8-9:30am.  Sellers are responsible for the set up of their own table(s).  All unsold items must be removed from the church by 5pm the day of the sale.

Are you interested in helping with our Children's Church during the worship service or our after worship Sunday School program?  Volunteers for all age levels are welcome - your participation can be for the whole school year or just a month - talk to Jane Smith or Pastor Kendra to learn more.
