Do you have treasures that you no longer want?  Stone Church is having a Treasure Hunt!

Purchase a table space for $25 and bring your unwanted items to Kingsley Hall on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Your purchase of a table will benefit the church and provide space to sell your treasures. Proceeds from the sale of your items are yours to keep. This event will take place from 10 am to 3pm. 

Jen will be out of the office Monday, July 21, 2025 to attend training.

This is a time to visit, reconnect and get to know each other.  Individuals will order and pay for their own lunches. We will be talking about the book "Start With Hello" (And Other Simple Ways to Live As Neighbors).  This gentle, easy read is a United Women in Faith booklist recommendation.  Some books have been pre-ordered and will be available when you sign up.  If you prefer to order your own copy, it is available on Amazon in a variety of formats.  

This is not a bible study, just an opportunity for the women of the church to spend time together.

Please join us whether you are reading the book or not, and join in the conversation.  

Providing a safe environment for children & youth to grow in faith!

All current (and potential!) ministry volunteers are required by church policy to complete a Safe Sanctuaries training every 2 years.  Please join us for one of our upcoming safety information sessions in Miller Parlor.

On behalf of the Meadville 1825 subcommittee for Juneteenth at the John Brown Tannery Site, thank you for providing the tables and chairs for the celebration. Your support helps us share the story of John Brown, the well-known abolitionist who lived in our area and helped lead enslaved people to freedom through the Underground Railroad.

Teresa Olah has volunteered to take a picture for anyoe who needs a new photograph.  Contact Teresa and she will make arrangements to take your picture.  

If you already have a picture you like that you want to submit, you may drop it off at the office or email it to Jane Smith at grandmagjane@zoominternet.net.

All photos must be submitted with $15 payment to be included in the church photo directory by August 1, 2025.

In honor of Stone's 200th anniversary this year, the Bicentennial Committee has prepared individual prints and prints on slate featuring original artwork by local Meadville artist Cruz Dragosavac.  Prints on slate from Stone UMC and local buildings are available with a variety of mat options.

The Mission Barn has an urgent need for cleaning buckets, as they recently distributed 600 due to regional flooding. Read about how you can continue to help, and get links to cleaning bucket supply lists at wpaumc.org/Mission-Barn.  Financial donations are also welcome to help purchase kit supplies.  Donations, marked "Cleaning Kits," may be sent to the Mission Barn at 181 Columbus Dr, New Castle, PA 16101 or to the Conference Center. The Mission Barn maintains a "Wish List" on Amazon with items used in cleaning, hygiene, and menstrual kits. Items purchased through Amazon may be delivered to the Mission Barn.

The Men's Bible Study group welcomes any man who is interested in strengthening their relationship with Jesus. 

There will be no Men's Bible Study during the summer months - join us when we resume meetings on Thursday, August 28, 2025 in Miller Parlor.  We will be talking about the book, "Everything Happens Somewhere".
