A Message from Pastor Kendra...

Partnership    “A partnership is an arrangement where parties, known as business partners, agree to cooperate to advance their mutual interests. The partners in a partnership may be individuals, businesses, interest-based organizations, schools, governments or combinations.” -Wikipedia   Hello partners! Partners? Well, yes. We meet the standards of the definition of partnership found in Wikipedia. We have mutual interests…the primary interest is worshipping and serving our Triune God! So, one could say that both of our previous partnerships were with God. Did you ever wonder what God has to say about partnerships? Partnerships have been ongoing since creation. In Ecclesiastes 4:9, the Bible says two are better than one because the work is better, and one can help the other. Later, Jesus uses the strength of partnership by sending out the 72 in twos (Luke 10:1). Later, in Acts and the Epistles, we see churches being formed to worship and be the hands and feet of Jesus. Paul says to the church in Philippi, Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. (Philippians 2:1-2). Many of you have received wonderful spiritual gifts. You are using them for God’s glory by being the hands and feet of Jesus. Over the next several weeks, there are “Meet and Greets” scheduled in July and August. Please come and meet me! I want to know you, and I want to give you the opportunity to get to know me. And then, a new partnership is formed.  I look forward to meeting you and being in partnership with you! Grace & Peace, Pastor Kendra
