*Opening Hymn “Come We That Love the Lord" UMH #732

 *Opening Prayer, in unison
God, we sometimes think that the goal of life is happiness. You show us that true flourishing is so much bigger than that. Help us, today, to trust that in living out your purposes for us, we will experience true joy and fulfilment. Help us to know, deep in our souls, that we have a part to play in your vision for all of humanity and creation. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
