Palm Sunday

Suggested Scripture reading: Mark 11: 1-11

Lesson/Devotional:

Hosanna! Hosanna! Jesus arrives in Jerusalem and people make way for his entrance by laying down their cloaks on the road for the donkey he was riding to walk over and waved palms leaves in the air. This was a sign from the people to Jesus that they believed He was the Messiah – sent to save them! What does Hosanna mean? It means “save us”, “savior” or “salvation”. People were so excited to see Jesus the savior and shouted “Hosanna, hosanna!” What would you do if you saw Jesus?

Sunday Activity:

Cut out the palm leaf on the attached page and glue it to the popsicle stick. Wave your palms in the air and parade around the house saying “Hosana, Hosana!!

Memory Verse:

Songs:

Pray:

Today pray for the promise of Jesus and that He is always in your heart.
