We Provide
A nurturing & responsive environment where young children can grow & learn through the context of play.
We seek to guide children's experiences in ways that support & expand their development.
We wish to provide responsible caregivers who truly enjoy working with young children.
Our Goal
To provide a clean, safe, and friendly environment that meets the growing & changing needs of active youngsters.
We seek to employ caregivers who understand & respect young children's ways of knowing.
We support & value elements of faith that are common to all people.
This particularly means that we guide young children as they learn to value, respect, & care for themselves, others and all creation.
Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is integrated into the children's entire experience at our Center. We take into account children's individuality as well as the primary needs of their current stage of development when planning activities & experiences.
Infants & toddlers are given support as they:
Gain body control & develop
Trust in primary caregivers
Initiative in play, sensory discovery of the world
Secure independence of self comfort, understandings, and expressions of language
Learn the beginnings of age appropriate self-control and self-mastery.
For our youngest children, it is most important for them to have dependable routines based on their own body rhythms and needs.
Our Preschool children are further supported in their development by the inclusion of learning centers which expand on goals relating to their sense of self in relationships to others and the world.
These may include:
motor development
language and listening skills
math & science related experiences
creative arts
music
dramatic play
and
social/cultural understandings.
